Fossil Extravaganza

About this event

The Dunn-Seiler Museum at Mississippi State is celebrating National Fossil Day with a Fossil Extravaganza! Our public reception will include museum tours, children's activities, and complimentary refreshments. Winners of the 2016 K-12 Fossil art and story contests will be on display in the museum, which is home to mammoth and mastodon remains, dinosaur bones, an extinct crocodile and much more! This year, we have on loan the replica of an extinct North American lion's jaw, which was first found in Mississippi. Click the "Link" below for more information. We look forward to seeing you!
