Join academics, policymakers and industry representatives at Mississippi State University for a symposium on consumer credit. Topics of discussion include current regulation of consumer credit, the history of traditional installment loans and other non-bank supplied small dollar loans, and the role that academic research can play in future consumer credit regulation. Speakers include The Hon. Tate Reeves, Lt. Governor of Mississippi; Thomas W. Miller Jr., MSU finance professor and Jack R. Lee Chair of Financial Institutions and Consumer Finance in the College of Business; Lendol Calder, Augustana College; Thomas A. Durkin, former senior economist at the Federal Reserve Board; and Todd Zywicki, Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University.
