About this event

Join Mississippi State's College of Arts and Sciences for a ceremony honoring Angus Dawe, professor and biological sciences department head and the inaugural recipient of the Dr. Donald L. Hall Distinguished Professorship. The endowed professorship was established through the generosity of Dr. Donald L. Hall, an MSU biological sciences graduate who also will be recognized during the ceremony. Endowments for chairs and professorships serve as a powerful tool for attracting and retaining dedicated faculty. These endowed faculty positions recognize scholarly excellence and provide competitive salaries and resources for research, travel and professional development.
