Introduction to Scalar

Scalar is a free, open-source authoring platform for writing article and book-length digital scholarship. With Scalar, users can incorporate multimedia, data visualizations and interactive elements, as well as collaborate with other authors. Workshop participants will be introduced to some scholarly applications of Scalar, as well as create Scalar accounts and get hands-on experience in exploring Scalar functions.
