About this event

Join the Mississippi State College of Architecture, Art and Design's Department of Art for an opening reception celebrating its newest exhibit on display Sept. 6-Nov. 8 at the Visual Arts Center Gallery! Titled “Figures and Faces Not Far From Home,” the special university event features selections from an estimated 1,000 original works created by local icon Carole McReynolds Davis, who died in 2014. Representing the artist’s style from 1970-2008, the collection was brought together by Davis’ daughter, Elizabeth Williams, and Lori Neuenfeldt, gallery director of the sponsoring MSU art department. All are welcome, and refreshments will be served. Click the "Link" below for more information. We look forward to seeing you!
