About this event
Join us for the longest-running, live, in-wood demonstration in-wood demonstration of forestry equipment in the South! The biennial event features equipment manufacturers operating their equipment in actual field conditions. Sponsored by the Mississippi State University Forest and Wildlife Research Center, the show has been in operation for more than 30 years, providing a grassroots technology transfer between loggers, landowners, foresters and equipment manufacturers. The event is family-friendly, with the registration fee including admission for the attendee's spouse and accompanied children age 18 and under. A children's area at the show site features activities for kids of all ages, including a Little Folks Skidder Contest, the Log Rolling Contest and Sawdust Pile of Prizes. The Mississippi Loggers Association is sponsoring two $1,000 door prize drawings on Saturday. All paid attendees will be automatically entered in the drawings and must be present to win. Admission is $15 for those who pre-register prior to August 14 and $20 at the gate. Spouses and children under 18 are admitted free with a paid attendee.
