About this event
Mississippi State's Department of Health Promotion and Wellness, along with Student Counseling Services, is sponsoring a Wellness Day. Free Subway lunches will be offered to the first 100 participants. Along with receiving helpful information on positive ways to cope with stress and practice self-care, participants will be able to make a stress ball, pick up a temporary tattoo with a positive affirmation, and explore the benefits of art and aromatherapy. A drum circle directed by Professor Robert Damm of the MSU music department will be held from 1-2 p.m. Blue jeans also may be dropped off for #MSUDenimDay, an April 27 campus event that will support the SafeHaven domestic violence shelter.
