About this event
Join MSU's Department of Health Promotion and Wellness for this kickoff event officially recognizing April as National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence Inc. (NCADD) Alcohol Awareness Month at Mississippi State University. There will be giveaways, and those who attend will have the opportunity to take a survey to assess their alcohol habits and learn about campus resources. As part of a national campaign to raise awareness of the critical public health issue of alcoholism and its impact on young people, families and communities, Health Promotion and Wellness is joining the call to action to focus on underage drinking and feature the positive impact that parents can have in reducing the incidence of underage drinking. Contact Rachel Snell at 662-325-2293 or rsnell@saffairs.msstate.edu for more information.
