Free and open to all, this lecture by Gregory Walker and Benjamin Wiemeyer is part of an annual series sponsored through a generous gift by Freda Wallace Harrison and Robert V. M. Harrison, Ph.D., FAIA, FCSI. Walker and Wiemeyer, along with Chimso Onwuegbu, co-founded WOW Atelier, a Salt Lake City, Utah-based creative studio that specializes in a variety of areas, including architecture, graffiti, branding, exhibit design and fabrication, intermedia sculpture and painting. Walker holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Utah and
has presented his work at Parsons New School for Design, the University of Utah’s City and Metropolitan and the AIA Western Mountain Region Conference. Wiemeyer has a degree in Intermedia Sculpture from the University of Utah. Through his graffiti and mural paintings, he has changed the “face” of Salt Lake City, Los Angeles and Paris over the past 20 years. Click the "Link" below for more information.

Walker served as chair of the Young Architects Forum (YAF) of AIA Utah from 2011-2014 and received the 2011 Associate “Architect of the Year” award from AIA Utah. Wiemeyer also has worked as the lead preparator for the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, as well as an exhibit designer and technical director for The Leonardo.
