Biological Undergraduate Research Program Symposium

April 8, 2016 marks the Ninth Annual Biological Sciences Undergraduate Research Program Symposium, in which the Department of Biological Sciences at Mississippi State showcases the research of its undergraduate students by holding a poster competition. Come join Biological Sciences as we celebrate the power of biology! Jennifer Sasser, an assistant professor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, will serve as keynote speaker. Her research interests include determining the factors that lead to kidney disease during hypertension and identifying new therapeutic targets.
