Tools for Citation Management – Zotero 101

Zotero is an open source bibliographic management tool popular with the social science and humanities communities. A free cloud-based alternative to Endnote, Zotero communicates with web browsers to bookmark content (webpages, newspaper articles, journal articles) and seamlessly save resources. A plug-in is available for use with Word to easily add citations. Users can create groups to share bibliographies (“Libraries”) and collaborate on research projects.
