World Food Day

Join students in Mississippi State's Social Work Program in their celebration of World Food Day. The event will feature guest speakers and demonstrations, and door prizes also will be given. The main objectives of World Food Day are to encourage the participation of rural people, particularly women and the least privileged categories, in decisions and activities influencing their living conditions; heighten public awareness of the problem of hunger in the world; and promote the transfer of technologies to the developing world.
