"Sacred Sounds: Festival of Lights"

The Bhakti Club at MSU invites members of the campus and surrounding communities to a "Sacred Sounds: Festival of Lights" musical concert Friday [Oct. 9] in Colvard Student Union. Admission is free, and free food will be served. Diwali is also known as the "festival of lights." The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. A professional musical band, "The Mayapuris," is coming to perform during the event. The band is a renowned group among the people's growing interest in yoga and meditation. See you there!
