Make a Difference: Rock Hill Community Cemetery Beautification Project

October 30, 2015 - 3:00 pm

About this event

Volunteer Starkville, along with Mississippi State's Maroon Volunteer Center, is sponsoring a beautification project at the Rock Hill Community Cemetery. 15-20 volunteers from the campus and surrounding communities are needed to help rake leaves, pick up sticks and trash, and remove weathered flowers from graves, among other tasks. Volunteers are asked to wear closed toe shoes and clothes that they don't mind getting dirty. Gloves, rakes, trash bags, water and other supplies will be provided. To get to the cemetery, travel along North Montgomery Street, which will turn into Rock Hill Road. The cemetery will be located on the left before you reach Rock Hill Church.
