Undergraduate Writing Series, Workshop 4: Strategies for Self-Editing (Sentence Level)

This workshop is intended to help students who feel uncomfortable re-working sentence-level errors in their writing. Perhaps you have the content, but it sounds a bit wordy. Perhaps you don’t feel that your word choice is as academic as you want. We can help you gain confidence in handling this type of editing. In this 60-minute workshop, Writing Center staff will introduce writers to different methods of evaluating sentence-level errors and how to make informed decisions about those errors. Be sure to bring a draft you want to edit.
