"The New Black" Documentary Dialogue

Facilitated by Dr. Donald Shaffer and Dr. Ravi Perry, the panel will discuss "The New Black," a documentary that tells the story of how the African-American community is grappling with the gay rights issue in light of the recent gay marriage movement and the fight over civil rights. The panel will explore social group identity and social justice defined by race, religion, gender and sexual orientation.
