About this event

Register for this two-day workshop at the "View Event Website" link. Case studies -- real life scenarios, current audits, federal notices and the popular press -- serve as the core of Day 1. Participants will apply the foundational principles of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circulars, federal regulations, and common institutional policies and procedures to work through the challenges in research administration. Day 2 will focus on understanding what is most important in OMB Circulars, related to preparing budgets and reviewing purchasing requests, audit expenditures and administer awards. This session will explain the most critical elements of the regulations using current audits and case studies.
