White Ribbon Campaign

November 13, 2012 - 3:00 pm

About this event

The White Ribbon Campaign began in 1991 by a handful of men who aimed to raise public awareness of violence against women and girls. Through our efforts, we hope to foster a positive image and a true representation of males and masculinity. This campaign encourages men to work with others in order to create a future with no violence against women and girls. By promoting safety and respect in all relationships and situations, our actions can change societal attitudes and beliefs that perpetuate and make excuses for such violence. We want to show the Mississippi State community how our men stand together.
