Dark Side of Biosafety

Mississippi State is the only IHL institution with bio-recovery technicians certified to perform trauma scene clean-up. Patricia Cox, biosafety officer with the Office of Regulatory Compliance and Safety, is the presenter. She will discuss how trauma scene clean-up differs from laboratory clean-up of biohazardous materials. She will also discuss how to prepare for and respond to a trauma event.
