M.powerment Lecture

Dr. Beatrice Tatem from the Student Counseling Center will hold a female M.powerment lecture at the Barnes & Noble cafe. The program is aimed to educate young people on the different types of abuse. Women ages 16-24 experience the highest rates of partner violence. That violence can be physical and emotional. Dr. Tatum will also include not only abuse among partners but also abuse within peer groups. The event is open and FREE to the public. Refreshments will be available after the lecture.
